Oh man, thanks for those scary words, Chris!! Now I'm scared of my wood basket! Unfortunately I have no hot water unless I fire up the wood oven, so even in the heat wave, I have to have a fire burning in the house every few days!! Aaargh!

Very very record breakingly boiling here, and many snake reports in country AND town residences, so you be careful too, dear Chris!!

I'm hoping we can start talking about artspaces again soon....no more creepy snakes. Studio photos anyone???? Please???

Good luck with the move, Claire! Looking forward to seeing the new space!

You ok Cuan?

Sankes again - must be summer!  He was looking for a drink, Vizma - a friend told me of a red-belly black snake that managed to get up the stairs into their house & make a snug home in their wood basket.  I'm happy to live in the city and cope with blue-tongue lizards and gekkoes & not much else!!  Take care you South Australians - keep cool somehow.

Eek! You too Cuan? Are yours venomous too? Or are they the constricting kind?  I'm not very happy with this Year of the Snake thing...I'd much rather Kitten or Flea or Sloth.

Yeah taidgh, mess it up!!!

What is going on with the snakes? Here in SA its summer and we've had 3 separate snake encounters - two quite scary and one little green tree snake. Maybe its something to do with the Chinese Year of the Snake coming up ?
