Janette, Thanks for letting me know it arrived intact :)

Some pieces i do not title, i like to allow the viewer to take their own journey.

I keep up to date on what is happening in Australia, been some harsh times there.  I am coming back for a visit in a month, so i am looking forward to that as i have not been home for 5 years and i miss it.

Cheers

Hi Parys

Thank you so much for the wonderful card which arrived today.  I love the colours and the arrangement of shapes.  Each time I look at it I find still more interesting parts.  Do you ever name your art, or do you leave it to the receiver to interpret it?  I liked the packaging too, very sensible as otherwise it would have been drenched.  Just when we think the Wet Season is finally over, another cyclone is brewing.

Thank you, Parys, for the great image - such wondrous reflections.  I think I would have liked to be a glass blower in another life.

Oh Janette - you're nearly through the wet season - hang in there -  HerShed is done but I have to buy a chair yet & then I'll be settled - have worked in there a bit but the rest of my life (work, family etc) keeps getting in the way.

Hi Christine

Thank you for your unique and unusual MA card which arrived today.  I just love the combination of sewing and photography.  I sew also but have not combined it with art. I also flooded with cyclone Carlos, but unlike you had water almost but not in my house.  I hope your new sewing room is finished and fun to be in.   I experienced a horrendous thunder storm a couple of hours ago.  I think my house was struck as the noise was deafening, power went off and my phone and tv were destroyed.  More time for art!  It is still pouring which means my sat dish internet connection will die soon.  Thanks again for your lovely card.

Thanks for the card Jennifer - it was 'cool'!!!

Helen - thanks for your compliments about my card - it was an actual photo of - would you believe - American cheerleaders here in Oz at a local grid iron game about 12-14 years ago - so I guess it's almost retro!  Not sure iftime would allow me to get something ready for your exhibition - leaving for OS in a couple of months & have lots on my plate - Good Luck with it all.

Jenny, They're yours! I saw them on the rotating slideshow and was in awe. They are beautiful. So light and delicate. Well done.
