Well, given that our Valentine's Day Special Mailing has been such a success, it's perhaps time to think about the next Special Mailing.

The theme for this one has been suggested by Valentin Dolgov, and will commemorate Yuri Gagarin becoming the first man in space on 12 April, 1961.

The Mailing could celebrate any and all space achievements since then, with, of couurse, an emphasis on postal history.

PLEASE JOIN THE MAILING.

I'm willing to coordinate the mailing list again.

So far we have 2 participants (both called Valentin[e], but to be so called is neither a necessary nor sufficient condition to join in) as follows:

1. Valentin Dolgov, PO Box 5308, Tomsk, Russia 634057

2. Valentine Herman, 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France

Gugarin and sausages -- Is that the one you're referring to? "A small step for man, but a great leap for sausage makers", no less. Regards, Val
No not that one (although it's great trivia) ... the one regarding the piece of mail you sent to me ...
The mailing from Yuri and Welsh Mwncinaut Major Tom will be spalshing down soon. In fact one has landed on London.

Reporting in that another piece of mail has landed at the site of  the Apollo 2 Commander

and that being from Tactical and Strategic Officer Mim!  Thank you!

Four more to go !  And those will join the rest in my record ... picturing just the

cover for now (extras inside and out) until the book is complete.

Your card arrived from Mission Control, Val. Funny, but the handwriting is the same as that on the address that came with no mail art attached to it. Hmmm very interesting.

mail today from Valentin in Russia and also from MyLifeAsCollage  ... !

Oh, good news...sighting of spacecraft from Valentin and ..Collage! Thanks, Nikki for the update. Perhaps in Monday's delivery...(if there is a mail delivery on Monday)...perhaps something will land at the GrecoSpace Center? Here's hoping!
I love your book Nikki. So far, I've received mail from: VMH, Diane, Katerina, Nikki, David, Carla, Marcia, Louise, and today's mail included this piece. But I'm not sure of the sender. Anyone?

I thought this was from Valentin!  Well then....thank you Steve ... from Gr. Britain!  Well, done!;-))

Nikki

This one is me. Sorry folks I forgot to say on the cover

The one without a return address is from Steve and the other card from Mim. Two great space ship-art landed safely at GrecoSpace Center today! Many thanks! And now the final two are still in orbit but should be arriving any day now?
