Technical Questions about Using The Ning Platform

I am having no luck finding a user's guide to the Ning platform.  Can anyone help?

 

Also, my specific problem at the moment is how to replace the placeholder image which comes up when I add a new discussion to a group, or when I add a new group.  People who have started discussions or groups, please help!  I hate leaving that placeholder image as the hallmark of my discussions and groups!  ;)

Okay, I googled 'Ning User Guide' and found it here.  I'll start reading through it today.

 

If anyone can tell me how to add a picture to a group or a discussion (not in the comments area, but as the group or discussion's main image), I would still love to know that.  Who knows how long it will take me to read the user guide!  ;)

When you add a comment or reply, a window is opened with in the top severalicons. When you move the mouse cursor over it, you see what they are for. One if the IMAGE buttan, and that allows you to add an image to your tekst. Lite the image below
