To me, the history, rome and function of Mail Art in totalitarian régimes is one of the most interesting aspects of this genre. I haven't come across a good explanation of this so far -- is that particular theme covered by/in Coursera?

There are some interesting Mail Art books out there (and some not-so-good ones).

Why does one  need a course in Mail Art?

I would have thought a stamp, a piece of Mail Art to send out  and an intended recipient would be enough.

Am i missing out on something more fundamental  about Mail Art?

Why are you involved in Mail-Art:

I started making Mail-Art after taking an online art course through Coursera and studying the works of Ray Johnson, Ryosuke Cohen and The Celestial Scribe who, surprisingly, is always ready wen I am.

Ijust received your artwork.  There is no sender address to send something back to you. Would you please......  The huge gap San Rafael-Curitiba is fading.  I can see a handsome bridge under construction on its place.  God save the engineers.  It´s time for this scribe to keep a celestial promise made to you few days ago :-))))))))
