You got to love Heleen's drawings.  What a talent. But this is too good to leave in Black & White.Just a little colour here and there should do.Well that doesn't look too good, maybe a little more will help.I have a feeling I should have stopped while the getting was good.OH dear, what a dog's dinner I made of this.  Can I have another one?

Thank you Heleen.  What a team we would make!

Really sorry about this.

No problem.  When one is inspired, one is inspired.  Sadly, when one is expired, well then it is too late.  I do miss Ray who left us 20 years ago. (January 13, 1995)  But hope lives on.

24.01.15 Dare Ms. Heleen de V.,....Incredible!!!!  (I'm talking about my own "naivitay" here)...  & yes, now that Sir Dean has simply pointed out that what is actually going on here is simply a series of progressive photos of the same image.(But , of course , it is.) I find it all  very embarrassing. That is, so-called "artist types"are suppose to be able "to see".  All I really picked up on was the pun surrounding his name ......perhaps foolishly again, but I'll stick with the  loose "obsessive" label that I mentioned nonetheless.  Over the years, I've noticed multiple mail artists who do not necessarily abide to the common civilized traditional courtesy of  responding directly to recent correspondence. Certainly, observation of the social graces is appreciated but there are no rules in the business of "mail art" (except those enforced by the Post Office &  or the heart of the individual mail artist). I can vaguely remember receiving 4 or 5 or more missives from Ray Johnson & without a single peep (or "quack" ) from me.  & vice-versa, I seem to recall bombing him, as well as, some others mercilessly--all to no avail. Obviously , I am attempting to cover myself here for any silence in regard to your earlier mailing. It is true , I probably owe a  thousand & one postcards & letters. All the best to you. Actually it is the progress of the same one.  But the InSeine part is not too far from the truth!

Love the duck envelope.

Hello Mr. Richard C. I happen to have one snail colouring card left, which probably is because it knew it had to be sent to you.

The only thing is that I don't dear to put it into the letterbox because I am in doubt whether I have your correct address or not. In 2010, or 2009 or 2011, I sent mail art, 'words', to which I thought it was your place, but I am afraid it must have been lost in post.

But of course I would like to have an other try. So please let me know if this address, written bottom right, is yours:

Regards,

Heleen

23.01.15 Dare  Ms. Heleen De V., ...... Oh, I want one of these also---just to try my hand.....(Sorry,... I don't have the wherewithal & or the necessary hardware to duplicate). ..... InSeine  plays a serious game. What a serious mail artist he is.....(note: he completes 4 different versions....Obsessive!!! ...either that or he is InSeine.   All best to you. Richard Canard
