Also for people interested in writing letters about literature. This is also a meeting place for The New Arzamas Literary Circle, which is dedicated to writing creative letters on literary topics.

One of a set of cards made while contemplating the poet Theodore Roethke. On November 12, Roethke suffered the first of what was to be many mental episodes. It happened in the cold Michigan woods, and he described the experience as having a "secret" revealed to him, which he said was the secret of "Nijinsky." Nijinsky was a famous ballet dancer who was institutionalized for schizophrenia. With your permission, I'd like to post your artwork at my blog: The Letter Project. I'm also looking for letters about literature and creativity. All works from the blog have gone through the postal system.

MOONCHILD

Gedicht bij een kunstwerk van Saha Khosravi, IRAN

Het maankind werd als wees geboren

tussen de wortels van de schaamteloze boom.

De verwelkoming door het opwaartse licht

werd even uitgesteld door de humustwijfel

& de vermoeide aders van moeke aarde.

De baby bedankte zonder ademnood voor de beschutting

van het duister en de diepte van de zware grond

die hem evenveel warmte gaven als een gewone baarmoeder

zou doen maar wat is nog normaal in het sprookje van een dichter?

Het bewustzijn van de sappen in de hars

seinde gedecodeerde boodschappen door naar het kind in wording:

«Ik leer je ademen in het slijk en bewegen

zoals kleurkrijt. Als je kruipen kan

met de tijdsgang van een naaktslak,

volg dan het spoor naar boven en nog meer

naar boven.

Eens het gras splijt, wacht je de ladder

vermomd als boom naar de afslanking

van de maan.

Tel en zie de overgang der kleuren:

van bruin naar groen naar zilver naar de witheid van het niets!»

IK BEN EEN GRUWELPOP, dacht baby X onbewust.

Ik klim naar boven met zachte tandjes om aan te scherpen.

Ik bijt als een jonge kat in de schijngestalte van mijn geboortemaan

tot het zoete bloed vloeibaar wordt, een weg zoekend

naar het licht vermoeden van een ziekelijk zuinig bos.

TIJD, zei de beschroomde boom

is zelfs minder dan een TIC-TAC,

maar iets meer dan een BOEM!

Vroeg of laat echter

zullen alle geborenen

dit wellicht ondervinden

of ontdekken in een oplosbaar boek.

Alweer eentje op de index van het Vaticaanse zoutzuur...

De aangerande maan stamelt hees terug:

het is het heidens berkenhout die een volhardende

Buddha beschermt maar hij is zo wijs

& trekt zich daar helemaal niks van aan !!!

turning away their noses... Aggrieving banality of technology meeting basic functions of biology.

mon commentaire
en 2000 dans l'objectif de ravaler quelques piliers , j'entrepris l'exploration des quelques 100000 fiches du catalogue de la bibliotheque du coin ; l'administration allait sous peu s'ébranler pour le numériser ; j'ai ainsi qu'une idée des ouvrages envolés une liste explicite des livres dont les feuillets n'avaient pas été coupés ; j'atteste que personne dans la région n'avait lu :
