I think, it is rather late [experimenting with gold] - from Svenja Wahl

Svenja is experimenting with gold and red and book covers and poems. How my photo of it can be so poor, I don't know. The red paint is wonderfully blended with gold, and the book cover as well (and not brown as it seems to be on the photo).  I really like her choice of picture and the composition, especially the two beautiful faces.
As a poem she chose Thoughts about the Person from Pollock, by Stevie Smith. If I am not mistaken the person from Pollock is an intruder, importunate enough to hijack inspiration and prevent someone from getting their work done. Svenja, I can tell the Person from Pollock is very far from a visit to your house, this experiment was a flying success. Thank you so much for sending it to me!
