Whoo Hooo!  At last one of Dean's fabulous Rubber Band Webs has graced my mailbox.  And what a delight it is.  Many thanks to you, Dean.

It has everything a girl could want and lots more to ponder.  Like who ate that chocolate bar and was it delicious?  Did Dean eat it or was it the postman that delivered it to my house?  Who but Dean would think of combining a tiny book, a pin with a running man, an army tank, a shoe string and lots of ribber bands, into an object of mail art?

I also have to applaud the French postal system that lets these interesting items travel, unmolested, through the postal system.  My mail clerk would tell me "No Way Sister"!  Maybe I am just too timid or the postal clerks are partial to men.  I have noticed that it is the men that are the ones that sucessfuly push these items through the mail.

wowza dean, nice work. You weren't kidding about this piece making it through the postal system. I assumed you mailed it in an envelope.

Happy it got to you.  The support is an Exit sign I found, the pins are my trip to Russia, and the book is French and has wonderful messages inside.  I must not that the book is not even glued, but merely held by the rubbgerbands so that you can take it off and read it ... if you knew French. (Google translate can help)  Oh yes, the shoe string is from my grandmothers army boots!   And where did the stamp go to?  Normally they covered up the writing about the choclate.  You'll have to get in touch with Diane Keys, she has a catch phrase about Dean's Bold stamp and run theory.
