Haptic Happy birthday mail art...Erni's CARE PACKAGE arrived 7 Feb! Good Karma!

Been delayed in the unusual European winter weather perhaps,

a package from Erni in Hamburg usually takes only 48 hours to reach Greece, it took 2 weeks...

but it arrived ( er, was "picked up" at the post office,) TODAY...my day!

Of course the package itself is SUPER fun,

and I think the postal clerks are actually beginning to smile ;-)

(must give them some Erni Bar Fan Club membership cards)

It comes from the PALACE, so it has royal contents indeed:

One carefully opens the layers of wrapping to discover a most beautiful "Spring" box!

So necessary on this ugly, cold, rain/snow day in Greece (What's with this weather???)

And surprises abound inside...wrapped or unwrapped:

Perhaps the real brass idol was detected by the postal machine, sniffed by the security dogs,

but allowed to pass as the "CARE package might just be a generous gesture from Germany to Greece

(we are in much need of that, thank you ;-) Erni, is that a coffee bean grinder? or a choco bean grinder?

It is very nice...and the statue is beautiful...holding a "lotus" yes?

I offered my gifts from Erni to the god...GOOD KARMA!

The Kinder egg will hold its "toy" surprise until this evening's party. What fun!

Many thanks, Erni! I did not open the Tofu box yet ( because I cannot eat tofu),

and now I am very happy it has nutmeg!!! Which is so much used in Greek foods...

like mousaka! yummy. And I am thrilled to have the brass Buddha with the bowl, will offer

my foods daily:bhumisparsha-mudra.
