That's funny Mim. It was actually on the cover of a found religious pamphlet that had a picture of the grim reaper with that caption "HI There" seriously disturbing so I used it for a more cheerful purpose. Have a good weekend:)

So glad you liked it. I get these ideas and then they sort of grow as I do them (in this case adding a fortune to the cookie *grin).  I seek wu wei in all that I do, but like you its not always easy to "not do" but I really do notice a difference in my painting if I allow it to happen.  Thanks again for the swap, lets do it again sometime. 8-)

Thanks for the message Mim, I finally sorted out the privacy settings and added my address.  I'm currently working on some material to send out.  Is there a group for children to share mail art?  If there's not I was thinking of starting one as my two son's like to draw with me, they are 3 & 5

I'll keep an eye peeled out  . . . Oh, I'll be hitting the road for a few weeks this coming Sunday, so I'll not be able to receive mail until next month . . . the post office has graciously offered to hold my mail for me until I'm ready to get it. Ain't that the bee's knees?

Hi Mim! Thank you so much for your welcoming message and for pointing me in the right direction. Sooo...besides looking around and familiarizing myself with the website, do I just start creating my mail art and choosing whom to send it to?? I have some awesome pieces already to go. Two people have requested to be friends, so should I just begin with them??? Oh, and I will get something out to you of course!! Also, do I need to be "friends" on here in order to exchange mail art OR do I just look and around and chose??
