David,

Even though I am hideously late in acknowleding your gracious gift of 1950's magazines.  I wanted you to know that the box arrived in pristine condition an on my birthday no less.  I couldn't figure out who would have sent me such an incredible package.  I poured over them for hours and am so afraid that I may never cut into them....but I will get over it.  I am in the process of sending you some snail mail.  It will probably go out on Monday the 31st.  Thank you so much....this gift was so much more than I had dreamed.

Sincerely........

Mercedes (La Marquesa)

I know. The little envelopes get to me too.  Then at home the card goes in my album.  Baseball card holders-9 to a sheet.  Am I addicted or what!  I have over 430 that I've made.  I can't stop David.  4 years now and I still love them.  What a nut case :-)

WHALE SPACKLE changed all of that, of course, though i can't say i don't recognise their contribution to society. why, just the other day i was down by the docks and i saw a....

Ooh cool!  I spend hours on sites like FFFound gleaning digital images...the Lib. of Congress would mean an exponential leap in my online digging hours!  I'm totally there.  I wrote my master's thesis on WWII propaganda posters and spent some time in the LoC basements...good times.

Dear David,

I'm a grateful recipient of a giant whammy you threw over me.  I love your gloriously creative and clever works.  Thank you thank you thank you!  Sending you a little silliness today.

I'll leave Jerry Boy a puzzle.  But I can tell you he was from Brooklyn and died at age 41.

I hope you liked the works.
