Hi Adam, FYI: the envelope had 'no contents' written on the back--it's an 'envelope only ' mail art. The blank paper gives the envelope a bit of weight for its passage through the postal service machinery. But I think that a blank page can also be interpreted as letting the recipient imagine a creative use for it. I'm glad that you liked it. Take care!
Hi Adam and Jackson--thanks so much for the 'BUILD A BOT' mail art. It arrived on 3/15/20. I had fun playing with the pieces to make my own BOT--just what was needed on another boring Stay-in-Place day! It is heart-warming to see the the two of you collaborating on such a wonderful project. I'll be posting soon.
PS: I'll be getting some of the new 'CELEBRATE' USPS stamps with their metallic sparkle--love them!
absolutely loved this card, adam, and am stoked about our creative exchange! as you can see, i'm still getting caught up in posting these, but this was such a fab introduction to your work! thank you, neighbor! blogged here
hi adam, nice to meet you! thanks for the card earlier in the month -- i'll post images soon [getting caught up on the archiving portion of my m-a activities]. i sent something your way earlier in the week!
Thank you so much for the lovely "Liberty Letter" and the other art piece that arrived. Wow, you used 35 of the Statue of Liberty stamps on that piece.
The huge Chaska-Patland geographical gap does not longer exist. Your mail art arrived in good shape, health and condition. Now it´s homework time for this scribe. Best from Patland.
Hi Adam! I hope you received the stamps I sent last week. Just checking since things definitely go missing from time to time. Thank you for your response to the anti abortion posting. I've been disappointed to be seeing all of that on this website. I'm tempted to weigh in myself but afraid I can not be diplomatic enough. I appreciate your contributions! Debra
Earthling, this may be the last but certainly, it´s not the least welcome message to IUOMA you are going to receive. I’m acelestial mail artistliving in a heavenly uncharted corner of the faraway universe called“Republik van Patland”. I would love to be the other end if you wishto trade mail art with a celestial mail artist. If that is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:
The Celestial Scribe Terrene Embassy Republik van Patland Caixa Postal 461 Curitiba-PR 80011-970 Brazil
I look forward to seeing a piece of yours in my terrene mailbox.I´ll do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less thana celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van PatlandOfficial Envelope Provider.
I am not a proficient artistamp maker.....tho I dabble in making some here and there. I sometimes photocopy the few full sheets I've made and alter them by hand (non perfed that I cut with those cheezy mini-zigzag scissors. I also have non perfed sections of a sheet that I can send, or individual stamps. If you could give me some ideas of what would work best for your zine, it would help me decide what to send.
Thanks for your enthusiastic participation here on IUOMA! Debra
