Long-legged Queen stamp-headed themed postcard arrived safe and sound - and is less time than one sent from San Francisco.  Thank you, thank you.

Lino cuts. Thanks for your note, Val. Lino cuts. You wouldn't be happy with the blueberry waffles. Lino cuts. They're frozen, and by the time they reach you they'd be a soggy mess. Lino cuts. Of course, maybe you like that sort of thing! Lino cuts. Bonjour et merci from Nancy

Since I'm about to put out a mail call I thought it good karma to spend the day making submissions for others calls yesterday but between projects while online finding the next thing to spark my interest I started looking at pictures.  After looking at yours I became inspired to explore the world of slide art. Interesting, each image gave me new ideas so I started slide making, now to incorporate them into art...hmmm, the dilemma. Incorporate or make them the focus...I like the idea of both.  So, how do you attach the actual slide to your work? Here's my first one but I have many thoughts and lots of slides.  Hmmmmm potty humor or slide art, a new contender for a new genre perhaps :)

No Mark, I haven't found religion, but I found a lot of old greetings cards from the 1950's. I basically cut up all of those cards and made "tape things" out of them. Old paper is just the best. I hope some of the other ones pop up on here, I thought they looked a little different from my other things. Anyway, can't wait for your next work.

yes, if the medicine doesn't drive me crazy first!  I need to be fully recovered by the end of the month when I have appointments in Reykjavik which I really want to attend.  I'm sure I will make it.

best greets

Hi Val,  No I can't make it to Paris for two reasons, I'm pretty broke right now (in sympathy with the rest of Europe) and I'm sick, age related loss of balance which with the drugs the doctors gave me means it's difficult to walk and impossible to ride my bike. Shit happens, I hope to recover quickly but am now just taking it easy.  Have a great fest in Paris, give a hug to everyone from me.
