Ah, I pick up free advertising postcards to add strength to envelopes. I just try to find ones that are a little interesting. ^__^ They are a good buffer if the paper of the envelope tears. I use them to shield interior items.

So glad to hear the little portfolio made it across the ocean. I was a concerned about the button closure getting snagged. Yes, those are my linocuts. The cat was a originally a tiny doodle on a scrap of paper I have held on to for years. I must be part magpie. When DK started the doodle swap I went looking for it and decided to make it into a stamp.

Hi mail Art Martha,

Will be sending you some of the plastic enveloppes I made with the 3D pen, so you can hang them in the gallery...... Just a small surprise... Love what you do. - Ruud

Thanks Martha! I actually had that portrait done from the Mad Men website where you can "Mad Men" yourself by selecting hair color, clothes, etc. After it was finished, I had friends tell me it looks so much like me it was hilarious, so I kept it ever since! I'll have to start getting some more mail art now to my orange lovers!

By the way, I can not believe how fast that was, I only mailed it out on the 11th of Feb. from a Village in Goa!

Great Martha, I am glad it arrived, I was a bit worried about the Indian Postal System.

I am glad you like it, I am quite pleased with that series myself! That is what a yantra is supposed to be, a tool to reach the state of meditation and balance and that was what I was focusing on when doing them :-)

xx

Martha!

I'm glad the peeps have started to explore. But you must remind some of them not to neglect their Walmarth delivery duties.

The mail both foreign and domestic seems to be taking longer these days.

Here in Cascadia, unlike the eastern half of the U.S., we bask in three days of sunny upper 50's F. spring-like temperatures, which means I shall work outside today rather than at the diorama or mailart.

Cheers,

Jack @ Cascadia Artpost

Martha!

I'm sooooo glad that the peeps have finally arrived in the UK. I want you to know that I have additional Walmarth delivery vans should you need another. Walmarth is definitely going to have an on-street presence in Cascadia town. I am currently working on two other building kits and then will get started on the multi-store building that will house Walmarth. Also, I've acquired several awning kits after much looking.

I haven't forgotten mail art. A new piece will be winging its way to you in the next day or two.

Let me know if your peeps need anything.

Cheers,

Jack @ Cascadia Artpost

This is how it looked when it and I parted company.

The only part that went missing contained the number 827.

The idea for the triangle series came from this link about Russian military forces' mail and censorship.
