Hi Martha--just to let you know that your latest mail art arrived last week--thank you so much. I like what you are doing with watercolors and collage--your design background is evident. I see that my last mail art to you is up in the Front Door Gallery. That was a piece of handmade paper that I 've had for years and that finally I imagined a new use for.

Your card has been added to my IUOMA photo stream and has been blogged  at http://decordisart.blogspot.com   It now is being shown on my Galleria Refrigeratoria.

Martha,

I just watched Dean aka Artist in Seine's video of your shopping trolley. Hilarious! The afterburner on the trolley is something Walmarth Cascadia could investigate for its shopping carts (visible in various pictures in the advertising supplement now on its way to you.

Psssst.... Martha, I think the Grand Opening of the Cascadia Walmarth store might actually happen soon. The special-liveried dumpsters arrived yesterday in the rear parking lot, and this morning I saw they had been newly filled overnight with found objects that have already drawn the attention of passersby. Not only that, workers (not from Grossiak's) have been stringing banners across the front and rear of the building block, and I spotted what looked like  black body bags stacked on the ground ... for the Godzilla Special??? I did not have my camera with me, and a Walmarth staffer in the parking lot remained tight-lipped when I asked him when the Grand Opening would happen. All of Cascadia city (well, most peeps I encounter) are anxious and eagerly awaiting this event.

Walmarth, the original Retailer of Repurpose, has unveiled its new corporate flag in connection with the forthcoming Grand Opening of its Cascadia store. One may speculate that the Walmarth flag resembles the last Confederate flag of 1865, but store moguls were non-committal on the resemblance except to say that the black bar on the right half of the flag was intended to symbolize Black Friday. Cascadians are already referring to the flag as "the retail-stained banner of Walmarth."

Martha,

Cascadia city has the Cascadia Currency Cooperative as an alternative to that odious Capital Giant bank (pictures of both attached). I am confident that the Walmarth store will be able to be open in July with the DKult rain punch barrel, Godzilla Special out back, custom-painted dumpsters, and of course trashions.

Worry not about following another group - I shall keep you updated via the regular airmail post. The time of the Cascadia Walmarth Grand Opening is approaching! I have received several "DKultideas" from Diane Keys and will be acting upon them this week. Originally I thought the store would open in time for the solstice, but the paving out back took longer to finish and we are still awaiting the painting of the special Walmarth dumpsters and rain punch barrel. As you can see, the Grand Opening, and particularly the "Godzilla Special," has become a topic of discussion among Cascadians. More soon...
