Shadows on the Bridge found its way to my mailbox earlier this week, and I am totally torn.  On one hand, owning a piece of this larger work unites me with all of the other recipients of the painting.  However, it also represents the destruction of a larger work, at once captured by the photograph included and then torn asunder and sent around the world.  The small 4x4inch square holds me in its thrall, both intrigued and saddened at the same time.  Thank you, Cheryl.

Just received your piece of a piece today!  I don't have time to thank you properly or give you my thoughts, but I wanted to tell you I LOVE it and I am so happy you thought of me!!  More to come soon!!

Now I'm really pissed. I knew I should have sealed it with tape. There was something inside that box! That totally sucks. The box was apparently opened. Back to the drawing table-literally. You must have thought I'd blown a synaps (Sic) when it was empty.

I have some friends in low places who led me straight to her...glad she found her way home so quickly! Sure hope her hair didn't get too messed up, took her hours getting ready ;)

Hin Cheryl I owed you. I sent it off without a stamp so eventually they returned it, so put a stamp on it and posted again. Next thing I get it back, so went to post office and the told me it got returned because it had all that red writing on. I then had to go back home and redo another envelope, and post again, so that mail had a few trips around and about Durbs ?!? Take care.
