Saw a tortoise with a mail sack on it's back stuck on a tussock but at least still pointing in your direction.

OOOOO clay books, I had a couple of friends in the north of Scotland who used to make ceramic/clay books filled with the bones of foxes and deer that they found whilst out walking the munroes... please send photos.

Ha!  It's so cold here I had to light another wick on the greenhouse heater today to prevent the broad beans in there from rotting in the potting.

I have a fantastic CD of music by Debussy by the Japanese synth player Tomita if you are interested I'll send you a copy.

It's certainly time that CD I sent you arrived.  Then you send me the number on the enclosed slip and I send you a copy of the script attached to an email.

Hello again! Expat Connection, I think would be better. This Expat is going to Holland in May for, amongst other things, the Mail2Maastricht Mail Art Exhibition.

It will probably be the first time that i will meet another Mail Artist, and I wonder who the (un)lucky person will be?

Regards, Val

Hi Cheryl: thanks for the thanks. Was this the card with a sort of collaged room on the front and the Infanta lady on the back?

If so, I'm glad it got to you at last.

I had a postal dilemma with it and a few other cards. the international postal rate for a card/letter up to 20 gms is £O.95 or so. Above that it is £1.70 or so.

The card weighed 21 gms, and I decided to take a gamble, be mean, and not pay the extra postage.

it might have worjked, tee hee!

Hope you are well;

Regards, Val

Hi Cheryl, Looking forward to finding your ATC's in the Mail box. No, I do not know the "Circles of your mind" song, but will find it. So, yeah, count me in - I like the line up of artists anyway. Yes, I received the Odette from Australia Alexander, but not the Polish one. Made a great little booklet though.

Cheryl, Sorry for the delay. I am having a bit of trouble keeping up with all my project. But the little nudge is all I need -- I will send mail out to you this week. I love your work too.

Hmmm.... seems to me you are describing shelves full of amunition for the mail-art cannon.  When you mention music sheets I think of the Italian mail-artists whose name doesn't spring to my late winter mind momentarily, whereas books of indeterminate subject matter could cover the media of many the collagist mail artist and when you mention Noddy I notice something sticky in the bottom of me pram!!!

Happy Monday from a cold Maastricht

Ah, Serend as we call her, I knew her sisters Fortunate and Opportunity well but not of course in a biblical sense... our relationship was netjes... of course.

This morning from behind a steaming mug of jasmine green tea I had a quick web search for a second hand Blyton book in translation to make a postcard for you but could only find a first edition of Noddy at a collectors price, scrub one idea.

I'm translating Icelandic poetry from English translation into Dutch and there was one hell of a cat fight in my back garden last night, fur of many colours and fear faeces everywhere this morning... I need more tea.
