Oh I hear ya in your third sentence. Same problem here at times. Embarrassing even though no one knows. Or didn't til now.

No, Nancy, I'm asking "Who sent me this?".

Of course I keep all in-coming envelopes!

(However, whether I can then match them up with their contents at a later date is an entirely different matter)
