I came upon Jean-Pierre's work while surfing the web and was immediately enthralled...Now the search was on to find an address...Eventually I did (via Guido maybe?). Aaaanyway, I sent him something with a note expressing my admiration of his work, and soon came this exceptionally beautiful wonder:

Needless to say, my thrill was immense indeed!

Yet my joy regarding Jean-Pierre did not end there, the very next day this was in my mailbox:

Ah, how very splendid! and a long-hand letter too! (Lord were her feathers ruffled with glee...) Nonetheless, being an unfortunately mono-lingual amerikan, I asked Marie to translate the letter for me (thank you very much for your gracious kindness Marie!) It was even more exiting when I got to "read" the letter as he said that he had already discovered my work via my site sometime back, and had the thought to write me a letter...Ah, glorious fortuity... What touch the web facilitates... Jean-Pierre's not part of iuoma, regardless, I express the very sincerest of Thanks.

Maybe I should go back to the Romantics for a spell, been reading too many underground druggy novels lately. You my bitch, Claire!! Yes, definitely time to change reading matter...

ha ha ha! Merde indeed! Been peppering my phrases w/ French for as long as I can remember... Always the romantic whose tone's been influenced by too many 19th cent. novels (such tendencies in speech were often a given). Or: guess I've always been pretentious? %_^
