Wonderful blog.  I called the hotline before midnight tonight and got a free trial.

I'm flying to Pesto, Pete O' or other Finnish sounding towns today before the sun sets.  Which I think is around 11:15pm.

Carina,

I'm going to ask our Customer Service Rep, Ronja Mäkelä if she'll make a courtesy call just to check in and see what your mail art storage needs might be. Don't worry, no salesmen will call, just Ronja who you probably already know anyway. She's probably, like, your best friend.

In what you describe, David, I only see the film Brazil. haha, "Kaakkoismurteet" is a special and very funny dialect found in southern Finland, on the border of Russia. The dialect has been used in a famous Finnish war novel "The Unknown Soldier" to make the soldier's characters more expressive. I am not sure I would understand much of the dialect - But I am glad to assist wherever I can :)

Carina, the Petsmo office is the cornerstone of our Finnish outreach pilot project. Basically what we're attempting to achieve there is the placement of outgoing tubes near the mailbox for pick-up by DMASF staff. It's been an uphill slog I'm afraid as our woman in Petsmo speaks only kaakkoismurteet. I don't have to tell you what that means. (But could you tell me so I'll know?)

Luckily Petsmo is a branch office. Thank you Dave for helping me see what is important in my home ;)

DVS, I'll have Customer Service Rep come out to the Overlook. In the meantime, please smoke out on the balcony. Nancy, everything is coming together since I hired the psychic with her finger on the pulse of the MA community.

Dave, how did you know about the little bits of colored paper. You're amazing.

I guess that would be cubic tons - kind of hard to estimate.

Dave, I've got I'd say about 2 metric tons of mail-art that is overflowing into several rooms here at the scenic Overlook Hotel & I am kind of having trouble getting in various rooms let alone I am prone to falling asleep w/ lit cigarettes. Can you come here & pick this stuff up?

Count me in but I'm concerned about the postage.
