It's a beautiful morning here in Wakoshi (that's 6am from my window), everything looks as normal as possible, and I feel so lucky, being able to leave this message to you. I want to thank all of you for your kind words and thoughts, I feel like you were very close. Yesterday I thought I was going to die. Got badly shaken and shocked, but luckily there is nearly no damage in the Tokyo area. The earth is still very restless though, it keeps shaking every 10-15 min, it's a very strange feeling. The country is in a bit of a mess, I don't know how long it will take to go back to normal. But I'm fine, and again, thank you for your kind messages, you're a sweet bunch :-))

The Self-Defense are sending helicopters to dump water on the reactors. Gee, they have to get SO close to the plants. I can't express how much I admire those guys. It's beyond admiration. It reminds me of something else but I won't go there....

How ironic, Marie:

to leave high levels of radiation: move to Hiroshima and Nagasaki!

What has man done to the global village's environment?

May N.Korea and Iran re-think their nuclear programs.

Time to leave uranium deep in the earth where it belongs.

'Glad you are far away, Marie, stay safe and well.

Explosion after explosion. Is it out of control now?

Marie!  I've had you on my mind for days- I have been glued to CNN watching the horrific images and feeling totally useless.  I think there was another explosion at the power plant today so if you need a refuge, Texas is always an option~ we have lots of room and want to do anything for you that we can.  Glad to hear you are safe.
