Some Mail Art can not be seen by photos: Marie Wintzer's squares on a string

Marie in Japan sent me this lovely mail art piece.  It is a series of paper squares on a string with knots  between each square.  I couldn't just show it with one single photo.  So here it is in all its glory.

Also the 16th of May is Marie's birthday. It's now 2am in Japan so I guess it's official;  Happy Birthday Marie

What a wonderful tribute, the film is wonderful, Dean! Marie's work flies in the wind like butterflies and sees the world in a thoughtful way...

Happy birthday Marie!

Why knot? A beautiful art work in a beautiful art video! FAB! Great job, Dean, and wonderful knotted squares, Marie. What a performance! 'Love MinXus Cherry Blossom's squares coming forth from the ancient urn...all the scenes were fantastic, very touching, emotional, near tears! (the ants singing Happy birthday had me in tears, too) Soakies and Sookies and Snooky unite!

My Cherry Blossom squares in the blossoming tree...Dean is right, a photo just doesn't show it,

but absolutely beautiful to have and to treasure:

Incredible video Dean!  Beautiful feast for the eyes and Marie's artwork soaking it all in.  Again, Happy Birthday Marie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know what sookies or soakies are, but the video is suppose to be funny.  I like the part where the ants are singing Happy Birthday.  It took me awhile to train them to sing, but in the end they did a pretty good job.

Now get on with your Happy Day.
