March 12, 2014 - How could I have possibly misplaced this classic piece by Richard Canard? His commentary speaks for itself. I shall only add: The Party Line response is that capitalism endures due, in addition to a good deal of brute force, to its uncanny ability to absorb forces that might subvert, challenge or overthrow it. Unlike other systems, it is infinitely adaptable and protean; it can assume the form of The Other without compromising itself. That's The Party Line. And I love a good party!
