I received this unusual 'naked' item in the mail from France.

And the back - a travel checkers game! And a great piece of airmail tape.

And on the back of the board, a lovely scene.

I had no idea who this was from to begin with, so visited the blogs of my French mail artist friends. The address label is distinctive, and so are the boy and girl stamps - it can only be from Laurence Gillot. Of course if I had looked at the moon a little bit closer I would have noticed Laurence's seal.

Merci beaucoup, Laurence!

Bravo Laurence!

(There is always a very high probability than any 'unusual' mail being sent from France is from the Artist in Seine. You have been warned.)
