After regularly receiving Karen's work, it is evident that handmade collage is important to her. The connection to humanity formed through her mail art, through the cardboard, the text, the stamps, the rip of map, hardware and all its irregularities, is a truly a personal treasure. Thanks, Karen!

I'm not sure about the source of the text she uses - maybe it's the same as the crusades piece Erni received - but the church/state conspiracy element works well for me and suggests a narrative beyond the work.
