Thank you, I take complete credit for "discovering" Diane Keys & her ability to make Rauschen Burgers ;) Actually, Rain Rein Nevermind "discovered" Diane - in the sense of an established mail-artist taking interest in a newbie. Doesn't matter.

Anyway, I discovered Diane for myself looking at her early assemblages. I saw a Rauschenberg connection, only RR never crossed into what I call D-Khaos. Check out this DK piece from 2009 (courtesy of her IU OMA portfolio). Was all this not foretold?collage1

Thanks for your thoughts, Richard. But sometimes you just want to have fun and making fake Rauschenbergs just sounds like great fun. I always wanted to make fake Basquiats, but I just can't get there.

11.02.14 Dare Ms. Rebecca Guyver & Ms. Nancy Bell Scott, ...& those were good "one-liners". I thought that I heard distant  Vaudeville drum flourishes. Yours Trudy, Richard

Petropetal, I did not know RR studied pharmacology. He did attend Black Mountain College along w/ DeKooning, Ray Johnson & John Cage.

You really captured the essence! Bravo. Maybe DVS's comment was an oblique reference to the fact that Rauschenberg first went to univ to study pharmacology?!

LOL--thank you for your input and insights RC. FAke Fake Fake!! Make Fake Art!!!!!would it avoid legal hassles if we called it imitation art? genetically modified art? knock off attempt art? the hardest part for me was actually starting with a plain white piece of paper for the background. I felt I was breaking trashpo rule number 1!
