Direct from from the street market in Japan, an unaltered Red Rocket.  Cool!

And also from the girl with the mousy hare.

Thank you Marie

And so...we begin again.

Yes David, that is pretty much the end result of 125 years of the avant garde.

Thought someone should mention Marie's fine contextual deconstruction. In particular: "Music has a pervasive tendency to rhythmically engage up a cow."

Additional info from dear wikipedia:

"New research indicates ancient Greeks brought wine

to southern France about 600 BC,

dispelling the theory that the Romans were responsible... (of course!)

The study ~ headed by Prof. Paul Cartledge of Cambridge Univeristy ~

found that the Greeks founded Massalia, now known as Marseilles,

which they then turned into a bustling trading center. Within a matter of generations

the nearby Rhône became a major thoroughfare for vessels carrying terracotta amphorae

containing a new exotic Greek drink made from fermented grape juice..."

I stand corrected. Or rather I would stand, but I finished the bottle at lunchtime, and now it's easier to lie down.

Yes, In Seine, but we all know that French wine is GREEK :-)

Put some in the Vix bronze crater and ...drink up, drink up!

Carina, I definitely remember this from "Marie's Mailbox." It's specifically about:

Bowie was using William Burroughs inspired cut-ups (see third stanza). The song references Frank Sinatra's performance in "From Here to Eternity."

It was an interesting discussion. I think Rebecca participated.
