This lovely package from Australia could only be from Vizma Bruns. All pieces are very delicate and refined. The first one is a minimalistic collage of thin but richly rust coloured paper, gold leaf and some traces of a dried flower. The second one features pretty Australian stamps what seems to be a part of an old book, references to the outgoing Chinese year of the Dragon. The final piece is a collage which seems to be thrown together spontaneously. However when you carefully lift the fragile paper flaps, two portraits are and a theatric scene are revealed. I love the drama of the piece, the sudden surprise hidden behind these ephemeral scraps of paper. Thank you so much, Vizma!
