Mail Received - Something big by David Stafford

This card made by David is brilliant. One side features a book cover, for a novel  which contrary to David's vision I will never write. On the reverse side you can read "an excerpt from the book" including cartoon. I am amazed how David can fit a perfect short story on the back of a postcard and I love it. I showed it to my husband and I heard him chuckle from the other room several times when he read it. Thank you David. This book should definitely be written by you. I'd be the first to buy it. I love to read more of your stories.

Thank you for your comments. David, I posted something for you today. Nothing spectacular. But I cannot wait for another story :-)

Thanks...xx...I bought a new (used) car so I may have revised substantial parts of the book. The image, btw, is from Cecil B. DeMille's Samson and Delilah. Our actual end may be much less dramatic though no doubt covered with a thin crust of gilt.

That's a riot. Subtle riotness is a special talent of David's, in the story-telling, the mail+art, his blogs and comments. It must be very entertaining to have his brain; some days I'd like to live in it. Well-said in your blog, xx. I think we love ya, D. :--}
