I have just mailed off my first contribution to Sheryl Penn's collaborative artists book, 27 x 2 pages. I am not 100% sure of the result. It is hard to imagine what it will look like as part of a book. It would have been easier to make single cards.

Do you live near the sea? I made a little card with the sea with you in mind, but then again, that may be γλαῦκας εἰς Ἀθῆνας κομίζειν, γλαῦκ' Ἀθῆναζε ἡγείσθαι - excuse the pun! (I dont speek greek, got that from wikipedia.

Thank you Katrina, yes, I looked at the old threads and I also read the catalogue about Mail Art which she put together for an exhibition. Great stuff. I am looking forward to receiving a book! Its been a challenge, and I have learned quite a bit doing this. But it seems Cheryl has left IUOMA, and some people have commented about that, I dont know what that means.

27 individual pages and then Cheryl takes them and puts one page into each 27 books

with 25 pages in each book. (Cheryl will keep 2  books for display and archives)

Your page and my page will be bond in the books with other 23 mail artists.

and one day, some day, you will receive from Cheryl a bond book...

one page will be yours, one page will be mine, etc.

and it will be a great collection of art from the other contributors...you'll see!
