Diane was one of the first mail artists I ever correspondent with. She does not disappoint. A moody package arrived sometime in 2016, I think. I did not know there is such a thing as a black student's spiral bound note book. Did you know that these things are called "College Block" in German. One of many cases of fake English products terms in the German language. Another one is "Handy". Do you know what that means in English?

But this is besides the point. I think, she was responding to my message about mail art dreams. No, I never had a glow in the dark dream. That would be a nightmare.

You can also call it "Mobiltelefon" in German but it's an awful long word.

I still own (and use) an old Nokia mobile phone and this kind of mobile phones are called "Knochen" (= bone) in German.

Block is a pad in german, College Block are these spiral bound notebooks, with perforations, mostly used by students. And yes, a "handy" is a mobile phone or cell phone. I found that term super annoying when I moved back to Austria from London, but I guess now I got used to it.

A "college block" is a spiral notebook? Used by college students like here in Greece, of course! "BLOK" is the fake-English term used in Greece for most types of paper pads, notebooks, even artists' sketch books are called "bloks". Ah, globalization! Tell us that the "Handy" is perhaps the name for iPhone? tablet? laptop? They are "handy" :-)

Nice super mail art from DKult as always!

(I don't see glow-in-the-dark dreams either :-)
