Wow. You guys all rock my socks off! Yesterday's Mail Call yielded some bountiful surprises from 3 fine people here at IUOMA (other mail arrived, as usual, of course, including one from one of our own--hermetically sealed, I might add, with an overabundance of packing tape--?????? What were they thinking??? Like breaking into our Federal Resreve. Sheesh! But that's another story.)
Valentine Mark Herman's lovely rose-encrusted postcard is certainly the worse for wear, more's the pity, but somehow we're guessing it's all a part of the art process for him. Let the art speak for itself......
Evidence of assault and battery by the postal service(s)!! Still, it really is amazing, isn't it? Thank You so much, Mark, for thinking to send such a richly designed and executed piece! Where did you get them all--all the rose stamps???????? Amazing!!!!
Here's the reverse side--with more encrustation:
Next, our eyes lit upon the envelope of Emily Townsend, with its beautiful goddess print. Gorgeous work from her was inside. Check it out:
Dig that print!!! Simply beautiful.
The above shows her goddessy print in finer detail, so I thought I'd include it here. :)
The fish fairly jump off the card! Love that beribboned jewel of an ATC, Em!! And those owls are too special for words(love owls in general). We all love them!!! Thank You so much!!!! Just love everything!!!!
But wait! There's more!!!
Next up, our eyes roved over the envelope and contents of another lovely gift from afar, this one from Carla Cryptic:
Yay, ATC Rebels!!!! :) Dig that "First class Mail Art"!!
This woman knows her way around the making of a good sticker! ;)
Here are those contents, then:
How cryptic is that? Dig those fine quality artistamps!!!Too cool for words!!!!!!
Thank You, Carla, for your wide array of lovelies!!!!!
Needless to say, we are thrilled--especially yours truly, who now would not give up her solo role as Mail-Art hostess for our Studio for anything!
Again, THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to another unique foray into the wonders of IUOMA!!!!!!
:)
Rose (and, okay, the Studio gang as well--and maybe I'll relent one day and allow another member of our group to contribute here--welll....maybe....)
;)

We love your work! But then, all 3 of you realy know how to jazz a lucky recipient!
;)
Thanks Rose! I really love making ATCs and Artistamps - I make them almost every day. :D I'm so glad you liked the stuff I sent!
Love that rose card Val sent you - so cool. And Em's stuff is always very cool as well.
