Always a "special delivery" when mail art arrives from Marie Wintzer in Japan!

...grand mountain...grand wave!

Another hand-made envelope, this one constructed from a Japanese magazine page:

fantastic inside and out:

Then the contents:

Dark and detailed textured paper stapled together

Threads added for "closure" perhaps, and also a paper clip...closed.

Delicate "ribbons" of text, cut and pasted, wrapped around

the textured page...

can be blown in the breeze and become

unrapped, making a serpentine pattern...flowing words...poetry

So enjoy these details:

Go-with-the-flow....Missing Marie :-(

as she is no longer at IUOMA,

but perhaps she stops by from time to time to see waz-up? Hope so!

Many thanks, Marie! xxx

It is a pity that through the internet you cannot "feel" this piece,

it has a wonderful textured paper...deep and dark, then lit up with

the poetic "streamers"! Yep, Marie in smiling and happy!

Magic?  But can it change 20 euro note into 50 euro notes?

Marie is now happy, and that's what counts.  Great piece of Mail Art.  thank you very much for showing it to us.
