I had puchased some door handles on eBay and was expecting them to arrive. The Post Lady put a message in my mailbox saying the package was too big and that I would have to go to the post office to pick it up.
Well you should have seen the look on my face when the lady came out with this banana from Lynn! Actually I'm thinking about turning it into a door handle after all.
Yes it is 3D. Hundreds of banana stickers on a paper mache banana.
It's wonderful and I laughed all the way back home. What a great idea.
I did try to store it in the Stafford Facilities, but they said the insurance costs would be too high.
Thanks ever so much.
NB They don't really have door knobs here. Actually I prefer the old fashion door handles. They are much easier to open!

Kiss for Jim? Well, the hubby says, "That's a big negative, 'cause we're not in France!" Oh, my! Poor Jim, no kiss... LoL!
I did notice that your tree looked sad... no clue as to answer for you though. :/
PS If any of you are tree experts, can you tell me if our tree is dead or just resting this Spring. At least the Banana adds a bit of color.
Yes, just saw your link. Give Jim a big kiss (not a French one, just on both cheeks like in France) for me the next time you send something strange.
:D Glad to know you have such faith in me! LoL!
Blogged more about the Banana-gram here:

Included a link back to this blog post so that everyone can see your fantastic photos!
Yep, a Banana hat in one year is do able. Start collecting
Next on the Banana agenda... A hat for Ye Olde Banana supporter, Mr. Stafford! (I wonder how long it will take to save enough banana stickers to make a hat? The world may never know....)
Very cool...I'll talk to one of my middle-managers and see if we can have this grandfathered in under the Old Banana Clause....
An amazing tribute, Dean! Glad you enjoyed it, as much as I enjoyed the making and sending! Thanks ever so for sharing glimpses of the banana in its new environment! :D
