Unaltered post card from Jokie and his round trip cruise to Alaska and back.  I was wondering if it was illegal to send an unaltered post card as Mail Art.  I could have see this one with a giant squid wrapped around the bow.  Or is it the stern?  I never get it right.  Front, back, right & left side is easier.

Well I'm very honoured to be on the 21 list.  Actually I rarely by postcards, I go to the tourist office and ask for brochures, cut them up and make my own.  That way I can make it look the way I want.

PS: The travel postcard project began due to the condescending behavior of people I knew towards my supposed lack of worldly travel. When I hadn't traveled much, I got attitude from people I knew who had traveled. Once I had been to around five to ten countries and such people were shocked that I had ever been out of the USA, I decided to do the following: Every place to which I travel, I purchase 21 postcards, more if there is a 4/$1.00 or 5/$1.00 special, but at least 21. I keep one for Crazybook, my sketchbook/journal, and mail the other twenty to friends, relatives, and mail artists. I don't do it to flip people off. Recipients seem to enjoy receiving them. But, now I have a reputation as a world traveler, having been now to 29 countries. Now, I must deal with people who are jealous or who just don't want it to be me who has had these travel opportunities. I laugh now. LOL

LOL: Well, first of all, the address side has the art by me on it, complete with rubber stamps, postage stamps, and a hand-written note. Second, they don't let the pools freeze over ever since a few people skated to their deaths over the rail. O:) <3 PS: To remember the names of the sides of the boat, face the front and think PS for the sides. Port is left and stern is right. For the front and back of the ship, these days, while other nautical terms may be used, the easy-to-remember forward and aft are preferred.
