Comment by Bradford on Monday: "Keep Austin Weird" dates back years before the Wiki page notes as 1980. I was going to college there in the 70s and "Keep Austin Weird" was seen in several locations at certain businesses before 1980. In that sense, Beaverton is drawing back on a half century of history.
