I have been trying to understand the concept of fluxus. I’ve gone to Wiki, read some of the history and I still don’t have a concrete grasp. It’s no big deal, I’m not the sharpest puppy in the kennel. I did note however, that some people claim that fluxus died in 1978. Does this mean that people who do fluxus now are (OMG!) zombies? “I’m a superhero” will be so pleased if that is the case...

Some of the original founders of Fluxus still are alive. The chairman died who named it all Fluxus, but that didn't cause fluxus to die. The ones who got a hold of the collection of Maciunas off course don't want the collection to grow since then the price of the first collection goes down. It is a simple business principle. But the business principle of the new generation (including the old and left alive generation) is another one: they still produce art.

So, the zombie principle doesn't follow through (sorry Theo and Superhero).
