Another beaut from Austin--this is fantastic, and these cards done using the same process all come out very differently, with lives of their own. Thanks for describing your process, too. And thanks for blogging, Roberto.

that's similar to how Guido makes his signature envelopes-love this-very soothing on the eyes!

  I actually start off by getting watercolor paper wet with just water, then I use a brush saturated with watercolor paint, then comes the eye-dropper Higgins brand ink (which seems to soak through the paint, by virtue of the pigment composition I suppose). I let it sit for a little while to soak in & finish it up by blotting the excess moisture with a paper towel. (I'm saving the paper towels as spare parts for future projects.)

Almost missed this. The textures in this new series are unreal, Austin. Almost a three-D effect. Do you use an eyedropper? Eye dropper ink on blotter paper is an artform today that goes back to the days of old. Great stuff.
