On-target description as usual, DK!

@ oh yeah, D-Kollectibles is sitting on a PILE of DK & KDJ work - just waiting for the right spot in the market. And y'all look out for those fakes!

@ I needed to mention Eduardo Cardoso specifically - his micropress style zines & books are FAB.

Thanks BG - I'm OK with the printing (color cartridges). No prob at all. About a year back I was trying to do it monthly and that was a bit much but had more to do with the amount of work.

I came up in the zine culture, and I really love it & am pleased to keep it going in a small way. With folks like Jon Foster, Taidgh Lynch and all the others putting out zines, it seems the practice is alive & well.

(Oh yeah we could swap stories I bet: One practice was to get somebody working in an office to let you in after hours and hope the boss doesn't notice like 2,000 unaccounted for copies were made at 3 am & that sort of thing. Folks were pretty ingenious about using the system against the system.)

Thanks for the thoughtful comments, BG.

@ DVS

Fantastic work, remember when you didn't dare put out a color copy (read - Xerox) to the readership because b&w was one penny and color was three?

I hope you are not going broke with all the costs.

it shouldn't be all DKult related Nancy--but Eduardo heads of DKult Portugal and he is doing amazing things there. Eduardo's art is so crisp and clean. It's really inspiring in a world where everything is pushed to the max. Paranormal mail art fits because his images are often ghosty

Geez Diane, I don't really understand what you said, but wish to add that I'm a big fan of Eduardo. Minimalist look and outlook didn't receive the time of day from me till I found Eduardo and the group. Sorry, this should be related to DKult, I'll do better next time!
