Again months ago, this comics-encased basket arrived from Erni:
He'd gotten one himself from the shop of his mysterious, possibly delirious, never-a-dull-moment friend Senator Watrin ("The Senator") in Hamburg and posted it, I coveted it out loud, and he went back and bought one for me. Fabulous mail art! I was and am thrilled with it, and as you can see, mail art at various stages of arrival and "processing" here spend time in this beaut. It lives on the mail art desk at Old Orchard Beach.
And here is just one of the super-rusted objects Erni has sent in recent months, a favorite. This actually ended up in our trash barrels accidentally thanks to the other person who lives here, and I dove for the good part of an hour through the kind of trash you hope never to see again to get it back. Success!

Fantastic your expression Erni!!!!! You work a lot!!!! and I see you like to make these activities!!!!
Nancy, you have a nice basket!!!!!
Rust Never Sleeps...not even in the trash :-)
Very nice blog. Nancy, with always fantastic art by Erni!
Yes, that's it. Turns out it was THE very last entry in my Received book (Oct 5 2012) before the back hit the fan, and many months of little to no logging, blogging, and so on. No wonder I'm mixed up. The entry says the basket contained "cans, biscuits, chocolate eggs, bottle caps, glue thing" ---
You're not capable of sending anything empty. It's part of your charm. It was packed to the brim with wrapped crushed cans + bon-bons + other goodies. I figured it was 2012, but a whole year ago? Time is winged.
Nice basket, Erni!
He does work a lot. Tremendously!
Congratulations Erni!!! you work a lot. Nancy you receive a fantastic gift!!!
