After a break I will restart on working with this chart on Chaos Theory. Will show the result when it is finished.

Yes, Erni, beings need structures. But they also created their own individual structures and those have to match with other structures. In cities these structures are very detailed. In nature it seems like very basic structures, but when you involve all beings, the structures there are even more detailed. Humans sometimes forget they are part of nature, and feel superior. Their mistake.

Yes, an interesting discussion. Am looking for more good sources on Chaos Theory. So if you know any, please post a link. Maybe an idea for a group?

I like this discussion - much to learn from it.

Yes, it is a cycle. Religion also could be involved in such ideas. The structure isn't the goal, it is just a path to arrange structures that eventually creates chaos because we aren't meant to live in fixed structures. Nature itself (evolution theory) builds structures but the DNA structure can be changed in any way to create new while old dissapears. All is connected, en that is also one of the ideas behind Chaos Theory.

structures cause chaos,

chaos results in structures

imagine getting 140 pieces of mail on a single day (at the hight of the project). You can't even open and read all, let alone answer every single contribution. The project got out of hand.

Just some thoughts. I have done some mail-art projects in the past that aren't known to others yet. One was e.g. the Socio-project. It had the concept of a 'controlled' chain-letter that got out of hand with over 5000 participants. Never could document that because it grew to fast is a short period. I still have the material.  There is also another project which I never documented and is unknown to the network. So some surprises are already in the TAM-Archive.

Probably I will do another project to support this Chaos Theory to see if the factors are correct. But it will be more a scientific approach then an art-approach. But in Conceptual art these two merge sometimes.

You'll find out when it happens. No more details in advance. The chart is just meant to keep the basic factors in perspective.

Yes, On wikipedia they have some nice examples of how the theory works in practice. I am exploring the ways how the chaos Theory also works in Networking. Lots of samples to find.....
