Cards for Zoe and Taylor

On June 12th, 2015... My Grand Niece Taylor Roberts and her friend Zoe Noseworthy, were celebrating Taylor's birthday when a horrible accident happened. An ethanol wickless candle holder exploded and both young girls suffered 3rd degree burns to their upper right and left sides. Both girls were airlifted to the Janeway Children's hospitial in St. John's, where the girls were in induced comas for a few days to deal with the pain until the plastic surgeon could reassess them and prepare for them for skin grafts next week. A "Cards for Zoe & Taylor" Campaign has begun and I am reaching out to all my mailart friends to take a few moments to send these girls a card, (whether it is one you make yourself, or any card at all), wishing them well, and brightening their days, and helping them in the long journey ahead of them ♥ Please feel free to SHARE this page so we can reach from Coast to Coast /Country to Country for these beautiful and brave little girls. Taylor just got back from Toronto where she was fitted for a mask and had a week of laser work and other surgery. 

They have just past the first year mark since the accident and it has been quite the journey of recovery  . . both physical and emotional.

There is still quite a long road ahead, but she is a trouper and has an amazing spirit.
