Asemic Haptic Trashpo Trashbook from Kat!!!! (in two parts)

I received this fantastic trashbook today and feel like I hit the lottery. It is so amazing. NING wouldn't let me post every page not sure why but I will post the rest in another entry. The cover is that fantastic sandpaper Kat uses, I only realize now that I've posted this all upside down but it looks great any way you look at it. thank you so much for this Kat:)

Hi ya awl...thank you muchly for all the kind words. Where is that Manifesto? Gotta let the newbies know what's going on here.

....as Queen of Sandpo, ahem....I definitely approve of Nancy Bell Scott's use of torn-squashed sandpaper as an expression of her SAND POETRY = sandpo! As real sand cannot be send in-the-mail to many countries (eco-system reasons), we have adapted to "write" our poetry with sandpaper. The Haptic Werewolf has supplied me over the past months with TONS of various types, textures.colors and sizes of sandpaper sheets.

The new "trash book" /trashpo-sandpo series has as its cover sandpaper that could not be easily "rip/tear" for sandpo Greek Islands...sigh. Thus blue white...and there will be a couple of brown...sandpaper Trash Books are in the mail and will be arriving at selected mail boxes in your neighborhood soon ;-)

(with red yarn attached and full of trash, er "leftovers")

It definately would be a sandpo series Nancy~but just so you know, Secretary Sandpo would scrutinize it

What's the deal with sandpo? I found a fabulous squashed piece of very used up sandpaper (sorry Diane, I didn't send it to you) the other day, but it's small. If I tear off little pieces and use it in my next ten artworks, is that a sandpo series?

You're right DVS!!! I completely forgot to mention the sandpo element. And yes, Katerina is the mastress of integration of all forms of po-- a polypoetess.  I tried so hard to resign as Minister of Propaganda after the Event but failed to read the fine print that says it is a lifetime position.  Kat's sandpo cover on the trashbook was a painful yet neccesary reminder.

DK, you are slick with the Asemic Haptic Trashpo designation. Katrerina is amazing at her ability to pull all these elements together into something cohesive. BUT DK, we also have some excellent Sandpo in here. I would like to humbly and respectfully remind you that you have a lifetime appointment as Minister of Propaganda for the Sandpo Movement.  Take A Stand for Sand!
