For the past 25 years or so, my household and friends have been adding art to our neighbor's old garage wall, creating what is known in the neighborhood as the Art Wall or Gallerie d'Alley.
Over the years we've held gallery openings/parties during which old art has been removed by democratic vote (and disposed of, sometimes by being tossed onto the roof, other times by barbecue fire) and new art has been added, with placement also decided by democratic vote. Submission rules are simple: art must be original and have cost no more than $5.
Normally the area in front of the Art Wall (which attracts many visitors) is blocked by parked cars, but yesterday on a sunny evening, the parking lot was empty, allowing me to capture the Art Wall in its current state of decrepitude and glory.

That's a wonderful idea.
I feel that You live in a place with a wonderful climate. In our city this exposition would not survive even one winter - snow, sharp temperature changes, ice, melting ice, smog from car exhaust.... All combined would destroy these fragile pieces. Enjoy the art and the sun above You!
O9.10.23 "Outside(r) Art in Seattle"..... Delightful neighborhood co-operation....though I find that most neighbors usually complain about things like those deteriorating weather exposed canvases & mud spattered/ mold growing works of art.
I don't suppose there's a catalog? Or a gift shop?!
Love it.
This is fantastic!
How marvelous! What a great idea!
