Some mailart gems I have found

The picture quality is not so good because I took them with my phone using flash and my scanner is rather temperamental.

From Cernjul Viviana I hope I got the name correct. A lovely collaged postcard.

More machine stitched atcs from Amy…

Anyway here are some arrivals.

Surprise ATCs from Amy Irwen

Last week this appeared, I've seen an envelope quite like it.

Inside revealed to be 3 ATCs on of them used the dye handmade paper I've sent in other mailart to her.

Distress Stains are great to use but due random nature it can be difficult to get…

Found some free time to blog

Sadly I still haven't had some time to make for personal work even postcrossing is on hold. But there is what Vizma Brun sent me. A lovely mixed media envelope with some goodies inside. A while ago I received a minimalist mailart from 5Blanks and disappeared until I discovered it was hidden under a sketch book. I'm not an organised person and stuff is scattered everywhere.

This is on the back

I'm in the process of simplifying my…

I recieved an envelope from Ruud Janssen

This was unexpected and appeared in the post yesterday, I was extremely tired and unable to gain access to my laptop.

I knew immediately the stamped image is self portrait and has such fine details. I haven't get much carved eraser stamps in my stash and trying to new German lino cutting tools- 1mm grooving and 3mm vein. It's almost impossible to be creative under…

What arrived in my postbox after Bank Holiday pause

This appeared in the post along with 2 postcrossing postcards which is bonus I only get the same amount to ones sent. it's complicated I'm aiming for 25 so I can send more. I wish they would appreciate handmade postcards.

The envelope, ATC and goodies is from Judy Stariscik, she makes a good use of washi tape and matches the stamped zig zag wave. I'll send something nice…

This what I normally do

I make my own envelopes from anything I can find magazines, flyers and leaflets. If I get more time I often decorate them.

This is was a few days ago and feels like more of crafter's style with eclectic and touch of distress. In saying this I haven't received a richly decorated envelope from crafters. I find that Mail artist have abstract, minimalist style yet full of…
