during my recent visit to the capital, i had a blast at  "Gertrude Stein and Pablo Picasso: the Invention of Language" at the Musee du Luxembourg. the exhibit (ongoing) features four works by Ray Johnson --

inside this official Australian Postal Service envelope, i found a postcard with a boomerang king-of-hearts sticker, and this very intricate collage assemblage. what you can't see feel is the stitched shapes which add another dimension to the card.…
