If you are in the Philadelphia, PA area on Monday, 4 June, 2012 - stop by between 10 and 4 to celebrate Skull Appreciation Day. I'll be there until about 3 P.M. It'd be fun to have a mini-meet-up of sorts. The Mail Art received will be on display.

Posted on April 15, 2013 at 2:32am 1 Comment

I have been feeling so badly about not posting the entries from the 2012 Skull appreciation day Mail Art exhibit. BUT I'm finally getting to it, and if you entered last year, please check the blog to see if yours has been posted yet. I'm doing a few at a time because I have a shared scanner these days. I'll get them all up soon, because the 2013 event is coming up soon. You can prepared for it and once I have the details, I'll post them and you can enter your skull!

Dear Mim,

How nice to know that you have been dreaming about me! I hope that you had pleasant dreams, and I'll be only too willing to give you a post-Freudian interpretation of them if you like.

In your dreams you might have heard my voice saying, '"The 3rd and last phase of my post-card exhibition will take place in August. I have about 700 postcards already, and hope to reach 1000. That will be difficult, but if you have any old post-cards that you would like to recycle, do send them to me, please, and they can go in my exhibition. Thank you."'

Sweet dreams!

Val

The other day I went through your blog and your Tiny Town series. I very much enjoyed it. I presume you sent them all out? And you are making an exhibition with the digital documentation? That is great!
