Bruno Capatti, multimedia artist (net-artist and performer). Since 1985 I deal with Mail Art and Culture Network. I have participated in many projects, exhibitions and Mail Art area meetings in Italy and abroad. I have personally taken care of several projects including: MATTER - material and immaterial in Mail Art'87, New Abstraction! '88,Graph Paper'89, artslides'89-90, BC Xero Basis Alterations (BXA) since'90 ('base altered' still circulating), VIDEONETWORK from'93, Letter Box from all over the world'95-97 (included in 2002), PERSONAL NETS '98, E-MAIL ART - first recognition'00, Microart'02 and Postcards '02. I manage the 'MAIL ART ARCHIVES' of Dogato (Ferrara)Italy, by way of reorganization.

I gave birth to several self-publications: Artzine - magazine laboratory projects aesthetic, SSSSSS! Portfolio Mail Art, Bnetzine and since November'04 to June'06 the mail art e-mail bulletin 'bnet e-zine', in relation to bnetblog. In 2000-01 I was with Attilio Fortini (web-director) co-director (net-director) of 'AH!' - Art Web-Zine.
Since'92, during Decentralized Mail Art Network Congess, started the practice of performance-art installations consequently. In recent years I have experienced the aesthetic and metacomunicative use of email in relation to situation performance and subsequent documentation. In this sense projects: bnetblog, perfocard'05 /'06, MEDICART'06, domestic microprojects '06 /'07, BMAN email project (unfinished), PAUSE and other. Among the first members of DODO / DADA - Italian Network of mail art is experiencing the potential communication in aesthetic sense of blogs and social network. I was a member of ZEROTRE ephemeral Art Movement / CORPUS 1, BRAIN ACADEMY, PULSPLUS groups, MMA - MultimediArt and netgroup.
