Taras & Luna JPEG

Here are my new assistants. Taras (after the Ukranian poet, so named by my recently deceased friend, David B.) at 4 years of age with Luna who is only 1½ years old. He's part Maine Coon while she's a scrappy, long-haired tabby with white socks in front and white boots on the hind legs.

Comment by Bradford on December 24, 2020 at 11:17pm: OK. Time for a foller up. I took Luna (on the right) back to her "mother" on Tuesday the 22nd. The cats are not a bonded pair and he eventually takes over leaving her all alone. When I let her out back at the home she's known for over a year, she was very interested in checking out all her spots and window views and looked very happy.

So, it's just me and the boy, Taras [Shevchenko] / Тара́с Шевче́нко. His black hair is especially silky which makes me think he's ½ Tabby, ¼ Maine Coon, and ¼ Mink. There's nothing like watching an old movie on a cold winter's night with a fluffy, soft cat in your lap or next to you. After 10 months without a cat, it seems like home.

I have a tabby too who likes to steal scissors, chew paint brushes and sleep in collage papers!
